Cynthia D. Rudick has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education with a Cognate in Marital and Family Therapy. She has been licensed to practice clinical counseling since 1987 and also has the endorsement to supervise counselors. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups across the lifespan. She works with anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, eating disorders, addictive behaviors and personality disorders with an emphasis on wellness and self care. She serves as an adjunct professor in graduate counseling and continuing education departments of universities. She has been executive director of mental health and welfare reform agencies. In addition, she is a professional mediator and arbitrator. She has extensive training in person-centered groups. She recently graduated from the Gestalt Training Program (Gestalt Institute of Cleveland) and is a member of the IAAGT Board. She wrote a textbook chapter on self-care for therapists working with trauma.
